Description:

CY5-PEG-NH2  is one of Ponsure reactive near infrared fluorescent PEG derivatives that have excitation /emission wavelength at 650 nm/670 nm. Cy5 fluorophore emits strong near infrared fluorescent light upon excited at 650 nm while amine can react with a variety of amine reactive groups such as succinimidyl NHS ester, aldehyde, etc. Reaction between amine and other groups allows the labeling and conjugation of Cy5 PEG to the surface of proteins, antibodies or particles. PEG linker between Cy5 dye and amine offers better water solubility, flexible linker structure and enhanced stability. Compared to other common fluorescent dyes.

Handling and Use:

CY5-PEG-NH2  is sensitive to light and temperature. For best use, material should always be kept in low temperature in dry condition. Protect from light.
